Shipping And Returns
How long it takes: personalized items start with a free preview by email in 24–48 hours. Once you approve, it’s made to order in 2–4 business days, then shipped. From approval to your door, plan on 7–11 business days in the USA. The exact estimate for this item is shown next to the price.
- USA shipping: 5–7 business days in transit. $6.99 standard, free on US orders of $120 or more.
- International: 7–14 business days in transit to supported countries. $9.99 under $50, $14.99 for $50–$99.99, $19.99 from $100; the exact cost appears at checkout.
- A tracking link is emailed as soon as your order ships.
Changes & cancellations: before we send your preview, cancel for a full refund. After the preview is sent and before you approve, you get a refund minus a 20% design fee, or full store credit. Once you approve, the order is in production and can’t be cancelled. Details.
Problems with your order: every item is made to order, so we can’t accept returns for a change of mind — but if yours arrives damaged, defective, different from what you ordered or from the preview you approved, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we replace it free or refund you.

Will I see the portrait before it’s printed?
Yes. Within 24–48 hours of ordering (Monday–Friday) we email you a preview. Nothing is printed until you approve it. No reply after 48 hours? We remind you twice first, then print it as it is. In a hurry? Tick “Skip the preview” in your cart.
What if it doesn’t look like my pet?
Tell us at the preview stage. You get up to 3 free revisions: fur color, markings, eyes, expression. A new photo, pose or style counts as a new design. We print exactly the version you approve.
What photo works best?
One sharp, front-facing photo in good light, face and ears fully visible. Phone photos are fine. Avoid blurry, dark or heavily filtered shots. See photo tips.
Can I put two pets on one portrait?
Yes. Upload the best photo of each pet in the order you want them, and tell us their names. Email cs@portrapet.com if you have more than two.
Poster or framed — what’s the difference?
The premium poster is printed on 260 gsm satin paper and ships rolled in a tube. The framed version is printed on 200 gsm paper and comes in a real wood frame (white, brown, black or natural wood) with shatter-resistant plexiglass and hanging wire, ready to hang.
When will it arrive?
Made to order in 2–4 business days (after you approve your preview, for personalized items), then 5–7 business days in transit in the USA. The estimated delivery window is shown next to the price, and you get a tracking link by email when it ships.
