Portrapet respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our customers to do the same. This page explains how we handle photos you upload and how to report content you believe infringes your copyright or trademark.
Photos and text you upload
When you personalize a product, you confirm that you own the photo and text you submit, or that you have permission to use them. We do not print photos or artwork that we believe belong to someone else, including professional photos with a watermark, celebrity images, logos, characters, sports team marks or song lyrics. We may cancel and fully refund an order if the submitted content appears to infringe someone else's rights.
Reporting an infringement (DMCA notice)
If you believe that content on portrapet.com infringes your copyright or trademark, please email cs@portrapet.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include:
- Your full name, address, phone number and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work or trademark you believe has been infringed.
- The URL of each page on our website where the content appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We review every complete notice and, where appropriate, remove or disable the content within 2 business days. We will let you know when the content has been removed.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same email address with your contact details, the removed content and its former location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake.
