Care instructions
A few simple habits keep prints bright and tees soft for years.
Posters and framed prints
- Keep them out of direct sunlight. Constant sun will fade any print over time. A wall that gets indirect daylight is ideal.
- Avoid damp rooms. Bathrooms and unheated garages can make paper cockle and warp.
- Handle by the edges. Skin oils mark the printed surface. Hold an unframed poster by its borders.
- Dust, do not wet. Wipe a frame with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use household cleaners on the print itself.
- Unroll gently. If your poster arrives rolled, lay it flat under a few books for a day before framing.
Comfort Colors t-shirts
- Wash cold, inside out. This protects the print and keeps the garment colour even.
- Use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener — it builds up on printed areas.
- No bleach. Bleach damages both the garment dye and the print.
- Tumble dry low, or line dry. High heat is the fastest way to crack a print.
- If you iron, iron inside out and never directly on the printed area.
